I've been working in ABA for over ten years — in-home services, clinics, group homes, schools, and telehealth. I've held most roles in the field at this point, and I'm currently a BCBA at Momentum Behavior Services.
Last year I got frustrated enough with how broken the communication tools were for ABA teams and families that I built one. ABAchat is a HIPAA-compliant, end-to-end encrypted messaging platform running natively on iOS, Android, web, macOS, and Windows. No CS degree. No team. Just enough clinical experience to know what needed to exist, and the determination to ship it.
The clinical science in ABA is strong. The software most teams use to deliver it isn't. That's the gap I'm working on.
